It’s October, and that means a couple of things for us at The Cirlot Agency. Office football rivalries on display in full force are one of the telling signs that fall has officially arrived.
One major event in particular this month brings is the Association of the United States Army’s (AUSA) annual exposition, which we look forward to attending each year. AUSA is the largest landpower exposition and professional development forum in North America – and I assure you, you can tell from the minute you walk into the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. This event is huge, with actual aircraft, utility vehicles and more, on display.
Last week, some of the Cirlot team and I attended the expo, and what a spectacular event it was. The theme was “Trusted Professionals – Today and Tomorrow” – focusing on the character of individuals in the Army.
A few of The Cirlot Agency’s clients were exhibitors at the expo, including Textron Systems, Bell Helicopter, Thales in the U.S., Elbit Systems of America, Shields of Strength, and others. Additionally, we had great meetings with companies at the forefront of product technology and formed new friendships, and we look forward to seeing where they lead.
Other highlights included hearing Gary Sinise speak about veterans’ transition into civilian life at the Military Family Forum and meeting Miss America 2015 Kira Kazantsev at the Bell Helicopter V-280 Valor display.
The Cirlot team returned home with many sentiments. We were humbled to be in the midst of individuals who serve our nation in the greatest capacity; thankful for the support the Army receives from the world’s most forward-thinking, inventive companies; and proud to have a part in helping some of these companies better serve those who serve.
