Liza Cirlot Looser Recipient of Tozzoli International Business Leadership Award

Liza Cirlot Looser, CEO of The Cirlot Agency, received the 2010 Tozzoli International Business Leadership Award recently at the Mississippi World Trade Center’s (MSWTC) annual meeting and international awards luncheon.
Named for Guy Tozzoli, founder and president of the World Trade Center Association in New York City and Nobel Peace Prize nominee, the Tozzoli Award is considered MSWTC’s top award and honors an outstanding member of the state’s business community who has experienced national and international business success.
MSWTC Executive Director Barbara Travis said that Looser is a testimony to where business acumen, ethics and leadership skills can take you.
“Liza is so very deserving of this prestigious award, and we are happy to have the opportunity to shine a light on the amazing work and the amazing company that she and her husband, Rick, have built,” said Travis. “The entrepreneurial spirit, consummate professionalism and global business perspective of The Cirlot Agency’s entire team epitomize what our organization is all about.”
Travis explained that the award is often given to companies that have grown successful enough to relocate, but have chosen to stay in Mississippi. The Cirlot Agency is noted by Defense News as one of the top three defense communications firms in the country.
The Cirlot Agency, one of the Southeast’s leading business development and retention strategy firms, specializes in brand strategy, public relations, creative production and execution for national and international clients. “This award is a career highlight,” said Looser. “I am humbled to have been selected. I have been very honored over the past 26 years to have had the privilege of working with global corporations throughout the world that recognize growth opportunities on a domestic and international basis.”
